BOOK CLUBS

Read Italian as it is lived, imagined and questioned.

Book Clubs bring readers together around Italian literature. Each book becomes a way to explore language closely, discover different voices and encounter Italy beyond the familiar picture.

WHAT READING MAKES POSSIBLE

A novel can teach you more than vocabulary.

Reading is active. We slow down, notice how a writer builds a sentence and ask what a story can reveal about the people, places and tensions behind it.

01

Language in context

See vocabulary, syntax and style doing real work on the page—not sitting alone in a list.

02

Italy in many voices

Literature offers perspectives on Italy that guidebooks and grammar books can't.

03

Thoughtful discussion

Conversation gives each reader room to test an idea, hear another perspective and make the text their own.

A SHARED READING PRACTICE

There is no single correct way to read a book.

The point is not to arrive with the right answer. It is to pay closer attention: to a word, a voice, a choice made by a character or a detail that suddenly changes how you understand a passage.

This is what makes a Book Club both a language experience and a cultural one—serious, welcoming and alive to different interpretations.

CURRENT AND FUTURE READS

New reading journeys are announced here as they open.

Each Book Club centres on a selected work and the questions it makes possible. Details of upcoming reads will be shared as they are confirmed.
